The Summoning Path does not draw power from flowers, personal sacrifice, or engineered systems. It operates through relationship, leverage, and negotiation with beings from beyond the world.

Practitioners learn names, symbols, and offerings that attract entities willing to exchange service for payment. Some are minor household spirits. Some are brokers and merchants who deal in materials that should not exist here. Some are dangerous patrons who should not be called lightly.

Where a machine does work because you built it, and a garden does work because you grew it — a summoner hires the work from somewhere else. Every service has a price. Every price shapes what you become.

Summoning Exposure accumulates as you invest in this school. It represents contract marks, infernal attention, and resonance with the beings of the Other Side. Higher exposure allows access to stronger entities — and makes you visible to things you have not yet chosen to call.
